Lean/Continuous Improvement Manager (Chinese Speaking)

Position Summary
We are looking for a results-oriented Lean Manager with proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement. This role will focus on identifying inefficiencies, streamlining processes, and driving operational excellence across production operations. Success requires strong analytical ability, hands-on Lean implementation experience, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to boost productivity, minimize waste, and improve quality.
- Conduct VSM, Kaizen events, and 5S audits to identify and resolve process inefficiencies.
- Design and execute continuous improvement (CI) projects to optimize workflows.
- Train and coach employees on Lean concepts, tools (OEE, 5S, SMED, etc.), and best practices.
- Analyze production data to detect trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Production, Quality, and Engineering to implement sustainable improvements.
- Track KPIs and report Lean progress to senior management.
- Ensure all initiatives comply with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Support TPM and SMED implementation where relevant.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or CI within manufacturing/industrial environments.
- Fluent in Chinese.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (preferred).
- Solid understanding of VSM, 5S, Kaizen, PDCA, RCA, and Standard Work.
- Skilled in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, Power BI) and process mapping software.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to other sites when required.
