About the Role
We are looking for a QC Engineer to join the Lumin team at DSV. As a QC Engineer, you will be part of a talented and committed community, passionate about delivering a high-quality experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Developers to understand project requirements and user stories.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive Test Plans and Test Cases (both manual and potentially automated) for new features and existing functionalities of web applications.
- Perform various types of testing, including:
- Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, UI/UX Testing.
- Compatibility Testing (across different browsers and devices).
- Security Testing (basic understanding and execution)
- API Testing: Design and execute test cases for APIs (REST/SOAP) using tools like
Postman/SoapUI to ensure data integrity and business logic correctness.
- Identify, document, and track bugs/defects in a clear, concise, and detailed manner using bug tracking systems.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce, perform Root Cause Analysis, and confirm defect resolution.
- Actively participate in Agile meetings (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, and Review meetings).
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining Test Environments.
- Analyze test results, prepare reports, and provide testing progress Status Updates.
Your skills and experience
- 2–4 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance (QA), specifically focused on web-based applications.
- Solid and practical understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proven experience in designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive Test Cases and Test Plans.
- Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively within an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Practical experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) for testing REST endpoints. Experience in testing GraphQL APIs is a strong advantage.
- Basic knowledge of core web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience using browser developer tools for debugging/troubleshooting.
- Experience or strong familiarity with automated testing frameworks/tools for web applications (e.g., Cypress, Playwright).
- Good written and verbal communication skills (in English) to interact effectively with technical and non-technical teams
