Event Supporter

Type:On-site/Volunteer Position

This is an unpaid, volunteer opportunity.

1/ Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible Event Supporters to help ensure the smooth execution of the upcoming STEAMese Festival 2025.

Event Supporters will work directly with the organizing team to provide on-site assistance, including welcoming guests, guiding participants, supporting the stage flow, and handling important logistics tasks.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy teamwork, are detail-oriented, and want to gain hands-on experience in event operations.

2/ Key Responsibilities

Reception & Guest Support

• Welcome and check-in participants
• Provide event materials (name tags, agenda, handouts, etc).
• Guide participants to the right areas (team seating, judge tables, etc).

Stage Support

• Escort teams in and out according to pitching order.
• Handle microphones and assist with slides.
• Support award ceremony (flowers, certificates, prize boards, etc).
• Ensure smooth transitions between agenda items.

General Event Assistance

• Assist with venue setup and delivery (seating, materials, etc).
• Distribute water, stationery, and other supplies as needed.
• Stay on standby to support organizers, judges, and teams when requested.

3/ Requirements

• Enthusiasm for event activities and willingness to take on diverse tasks.
• Responsible, punctual, and able to follow instructions closely.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Available to attend at least 1 training session before the event to learn event flow and assigned tasks
• Previous volunteering experience in event implementation..
