Job SummaryThe engineer or designer is responsible to design packaging solutions in line with the customer's needs. They work in line with local needs and the Nefab Engineering Directive.

This position will be based in Nefab South of Vietnam where located in Dong Nai province; Working from Monday to Friday with one day work from home.

THE ENGINEERING DIRECTIVE

• Work according to the engineering process and our tools
• Make designs according to the drawing manual and sustainability guidelines
• Follow the available training
• Follow ISO 9001 and 14001 Policies and Procedures

Main Responsibilities

• Design packaging solutions while utilizing Nefab products and/or sourced materials
• Assist with providing packaging technical expertise
• Assess structural requirements, method of transport, long term storage and other specifications
• Support other departments
• Assist with packaging evaluations and designs of other engineers or designers
• Assist with the gathering of sufficient information to enable drawings
• Create CAD drawings, assembly instructions and material lists
• Assist Sr. Engineers perform special engineering project assignments
• Assist in understanding material specifications and possible replacement materials as needed
• Support in creating artwork for our products

Minimum Experience And Education RequirementsEDUCATION

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering equivalent in experience and education or
• Master degree in Industrial design equivalent in experience and education or
• CAD designer or drafter with significant experience
• Project Management Certification considered an asset

Experience

• 01 year up experience working with CAD programs, 3D modeling software, either in school or at work.
• Experience designing with wood, corrugated, foam and/or other traded materials is considered an asset, but not required.

LANGUAGES

• English (high - mandatory)
