About the Role:

The role will manage and develop KPS partners in Vietnam (toy producers and co-packing activity), with the aim to fulfil the KPIs with the coordination with the local team (industrial and quality engineers, quality inspectors and planning), working closely with the Region hub in Hong Kong and across various functions, including controlling/procurement, marketing and others.

The role is reporting to the Head of Operation Far East, based in Hong Kong, and assumes the responsibility of Ferrero Vietnam operations manager, working with local Finance team to ensure compliancy with local and internal standard. The role liaises with Asia Pacific HQ for Legal and HR matters when needed.

Main Responsibilities:

• Operation Management to ensure that KPS Vietnam can fulfil the High 5+ KPIs: project development timing, safety of Partners operations, SMETA assessment result, FSQ Assessment result, Inspection rejections, delivery vs plan
• Manage cost compliance vs DTC
• Develop the partners/supplier base in line with strategy
• Scout new partners/supplier, enhance the existing one and ensure alignment in key areas: capacity, efficiency, capabilities.
• Foster continuous improvement and operational efficiency, including automation (where applicable), or other initiatives
• Drive supply chain localization effort and improve efficiency across the overall value chain
• Work effectively across the organization, managing multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Manage crisis and escalation when needed
• Hold statutory and institutional responsibility for Ferrero Vietnam legal entity and its operations, ensuring compliance with local and internal requirements/standard
• Manage Budget and expenses of the company in line with finance guidelines (CAPEX/OPEX)
• Promote the timely and correct communication and cascading through the line managers to the teams
• Be accountable for the team management based on company values of motivation, diversity & inclusion, competence development and empowerment

Who we are looking for:

• University degree, engineering / technical background
• Strong relevant professional background with experience in toy or automotive industry
• Management skills with high project management capabilities, with ability to deliver according to the objectives set, with the relevant focus on cost, efficiency, safety etc controls
• Continuous improvement mindset, high problem-solving and organizational skills, proactivity
• Advanced communication skills, ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, internal and external
• Accountability, resilience, dynamism and self-motivation
• Openness and availability to travel (locally and internationally)
• Strong people and team management skills
• Advanced MS Office, project management tools, SAP skills
• Fluency in English is required; any other language is considered a plus
