The Sales and Market Development Manager is responsible for achieving the TPU sales target, providing technical support to customers by working with technical functions, defining and implementing the Key Account plans, and identifying and commercializing in new markets/applications to support the sustainable growth. Main Responsibilities: Sales:
- Support on defining and implementing sales strategies and plans and swiftly adjust approach when needed.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and deliver the set volume and margin targets.
- Identify and commercialize in new market/applications/customers, and implement opportunity management.
- Build network with customers, decision makers and key influencers in focused markets, and timely update market/application/technology trends.
- Provide regular reports regarding to market, customer and competitor.
- Define requirements on product, supply, and technical service and align with related functions accordingly to provide necessary support to customers.
- Responsible for AR collection. Coordinate with credit management team and provide necessary information.
- Closely working with assigned Key Accounts to define and implement the key account plan.
- TPU APAC P&T, R&D, BD, AD, S&MD and Footwear Segment Teams.
- BE and supporting unit in Vietnam. MD of Covestro VN.
- Direct customer and Distributor.
- Value chain & Business partners (like brands, Design house, OEM, ODM and Molder), Members of trade and industry associations.
- Bachelors degree in sciences/engineering or business administration degree or equivalent.
- More than 5 years of professional experience in the fields of marketing or sales or similar.
- Experiences with Footwear/Engineering Polymer industry is an advantage but not a must.
- Experience in international business environment is an advantage but not a must.
- Good communication and people skill to manage ambiguity.
- A team player with independent working capability and interpersonal skills.
- Good discipline with sense of urgency to meet commitments.
- Fluency in spoken / written English and Mandarin.
