Data Privacy Engineering

Full-time

• Analyze, design, and enhance software to mitigate privacy risks and future vulnerabilities using advanced techniques, e.g. data anonymization, pseudonymization, and encryption.
• Conduct privacy assessments, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies through tools, training, and effective documentation.
• Ensure compliance with legal data use regulations while supporting business needs and Privacy by Design principles in system development.
• Work closely with data science and analytics teams to align privacy objectives with broader organizational goals.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., Decree 13/2023, Decree 53/2022) while maintaining the integrity, usability, and performance of privacy solutions.

• Proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining privacy solutions focusing on data protection/privacy related design, security/privacy.
• Knowledge of applicable privacy regulations and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, NIST CSF, Decree 13/2023, Decree 53/2022).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate designs, proposals, and results.
• Data literacy: finding and managing data, cleansing data, manipulating data.
• CIPT or CIPM, other Privacy certifications a plus.
