What you will do - User-centric & strategy:
- Develop and implement UX Strategies and best practices.
- Scale the user-centric design discipline across the design team and play the role of a collaboration between the Design, UX Research, Product Management, and Engineering teams.
- Play a key role in user understanding practices & methods in order to fully understand user needs and behaviors, define problems, and develop ideas for solutions.
- Process: Build, maintain, and enhance thedesign process for better UX quality, efficiency, and team collaboration.
- Continual improvement: Take charge and explore new trends and ideas to re-imagine product designs and work on ground-breaking strategic improvements to the designs.
- Management & leadership:
- Facilitate a design review and UX audit sessions, help the design team explore deeply UX solutions to search for usability problems, and identify areas to improve.
- Accountable for people management. Responsibilities include actively participating in hiring, training, and evaluating team members. To work with individual team members for performance improvement and career plans.
- Be both a creative inspiration for the team and a hands-on coach with well-rounded professional and soft skills.
What you will need - Willingness to make changes and help our products to achieve more explosive growth.
- At least 8 years of mobile product design experience and at least 3 years of management experience.
- Previous experience in a senior design role at internet/mobile tech companies, especially mobile app design, where you established a history of significant design work.
- Excellent organization and analytical skills and experience in product strategic planning.
- Demonstration of an ability to plan and conduct design research in collaboration with various teams including User research, Data analysis, Software engineering, and Product management.
- Being known for building, managing and training successful design team(s).
