We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Sanctions Screening Manager
Principal Accountabilities:
Impact on the Business / Function

• Review and provide advice for screening alerts,
• Support and facilitate a coordination and implementation of an effective Sanctions controls framework within the Vietnam
• Discharge the relevant accountabilities as set out in the Group FCC standards framework.
• Advise and track on advances in screening technology, working with software delivery to maximize the effectiveness of HSBCs screening utilities.
• Implement, as required, Group sanctions policies and systems within Vietnam that ensure that business exposure to financial crime and reputational risks is managed, in a practical and effective manner, including efficient and reasonable deployment of resources and an understanding of the business operations and needs.

Leadership & Teamwork

• Maintain and develop positive and professional working relationships with stake holders at country level
• Participate in country project related to sanctions screening

Qualifications Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:

• Seasoned professional with experience in compliance or risk operational roles, ideally to include Sanctions experience,
• Ability to multi-task,
• Ability to work under pressure with tasks that are high stakes,
• Lateral thinker with an ability to interpret and solve complex issues.
• Ability to lead change, contributing to joining up with the other teams in Risk and Business,
• Ability to develop practical, cost effective solutions to complex global issues
• Fluent English and Vietnamese
