  • Upholding supplier ties: In order to guarantee a steady and uninterrupted supply of materials, they must uphold and manage their relationships with their present suppliers.
  • Risk management: Procurement managers are responsible for evaluating and controlling risks associated with the supply of materials, such as those pertaining to price, quality, and delivery schedule.
