Electrical Engineer Internship

JOB SUMMARY:

Bureau Veritas Vietnam is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer Intern to join our Industry Department. The intern will assist in various electrical engineering tasks, contributing to the development, testing, and implementation of electrical systems and solutions for our clients. This position offers hands-on experience in a dynamic and professional environment, providing valuable insights into the industry and practical application of academic knowledge. Our job performance is within the framework of the BV Assurance Quality System, QHSE policy, Code of Ethics, and BV Groups policies and procedures.

TASKS – ACTIVITIES – RESPONSIBILITIES

§Assist in Electrical Design and Analysis: Support the design, development, and analysis of electrical systems, including drafting and revising electrical diagrams and schematics.

§Conduct Inspections and Testing: Participate in on-site inspections and testing of electrical installations to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

§Data Collection and Reporting: Gather and analyze data related to electrical systems, preparing detailed reports and documentation of findings and recommendations.

§Support Project Management: Aid in project planning, scheduling, and coordination, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to project requirements.

§Research and Development: Assist in researching new technologies, tools, and methods to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of electrical engineering processes.

§Safety and Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with industry standards, company policies, and relevant regulations, promoting a safe and ethical working environment.

REQUIREMENTS

§Education: recent graduate with a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

§Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and components. Familiarity with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB) is a plus.

§Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and develop practical solutions.

§Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese.

§Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with colleagues and clients.

§Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

§Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies.

§Preferred Qualifications:

§Internship Experience: Previous internship or practical experience in electrical engineering is an advantage.

§Certifications: Relevant certifications or training in electrical engineering principles and practices.
