The Captain is responsible for overseeing the overall guest experience, ensuring smooth and efficient service, and maximizing guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:1. Guest Service: Supervise and guide the waitstaff, ensuring they provide exceptional service to all guests. Greet and welcome guests warmly and professionally. Assist with table assignments and seating arrangements. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive resolution. Manage guest expectations and exceed their expectations whenever possible. 2. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor the waitstaff team. Assist with staff training and development. Foster a positive and supportive team environment. Ensure adherence to restaurant policies and procedures. 3. Restaurant Operations: Assist with the smooth and efficient flow of service during peak periods. Monitor the cleanliness and presentation of the dining area. Assist with inventory management of front-of-house supplies. 4. Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and kitchen staff. Provide constructive feedback on the waitstaffs performance.
