Department Operations LevelExperienced (Individual Contributor) LocationVietnam - Ho Chi Minh City

The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

About the Team: The Seller Operation Solution (SOS) team focuses on various topics, with one goal in mind: To make the selling experience of sellers on Shopee to be as smooth and as positive as possible. To achieve this, SOS engages in studying and striving to understand what, why and how sellers are doing what they are doing and what they are not doing. In doing so, SOS suggests improvement on seller operation processes (to fit with Shopee’s operation policies), coordinate with internal Shopee team to make feature development for sellers (to fit with demand of most sellers during their operation process), or even adjust policies which many sellers are struggling to meet. All for the sake of ensuring customer satisfaction of both sellers and buyers on Shopee be the ultimate shopping experience! Job Description:
  • Act as main point of contact point for managed sellers for all operational inquiries
  • Resolve seller’s operation related questions & concerns according to SOP
  • Monitor seller’s operation performance (e.g. cancellation rate, late shipment rate, backlog movement, etc.)
  • Alert critical issues to BD & other teams to offer quick resolutions for sellers
  • Build & maintain strong relationship with sellers to gain in-depth understanding of seller’s insights
  • Leverage those insights to assist & brainstorm with team leader to solve high severity requests
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to prepare seller before sales campaign & ensure seller’s capability to fulfill high order uplift
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager
Requirements:
  • Preferred background in business administration/ supply chains/ key account management
  • Have knowledge/ experience in e-commerce industry is a plus
  • Good communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Possess a customer-oriented mindset
  • Good at data analysis skills and Microsoft Excel is a big plus
  • Desire to learn and desire to understand how the world works
