• Degree in legal affairs in Vietnam (Certified Lawyer).
• Good knowledge of Vietnamese law and legal matters in Vietnam.
• At least 10 years of experience in international law firms and legal departments of international companies.
• Vietnamese mother tongue.
• Good English essential, French will be a plus.

• Key Activities:

Main responsibilities:

• Legal advice and guidance on all aspects of M&S Vietnam businesses, activities, policies and procedures.
• Draft/review, inventory and safekeeping of all legal documents.
• Compliance of M&S Vietnam affiliates with their legal obligations in all fields (corporate, administrative, etc.).
• Legal/regulatory watch, impact analysis of potential changes.
• Corporate secretary (formalities related to board/members/shareholder meetings) and administration (licenses, registrations, certificates etc.).
• Management and follow-up of any and all litigations involving an M&S Vietnam affiliate.
• Keeping the Company’s legal information system (currently TELA) up-to-date.
• Relationship with legal advisors and competent authorities.

Contributes to:

• Identifying and managing risks.
• Trainings and presentations as they may occur.
• Projects as they may arise, as well as any other assignments/duties given by the Management
  

Fulfill other tasks and/or assignments requested by the line managers whom the employee directly/indirectly reports to, and/or tasks requested by the board of management
Contexte et environnement Based in Ho Chi Minh City with occasional business travel to affiliates within Vietnam and abroad if required. Frequent interactions with other local and regional teams. Complex legal/regulatory framework
