With rapid expansion plans throughout Southeast Asia, Entoria is looking for a Business Development Associate to join our growing Business Development Team. Based in Vietnam, this role is an exciting opportunity for you to make high-impact contributions to the business of an established renewable energy company.

Overview

Reporting to the Business Development Manager for Vietnam, you will be responsible for business development activities across Vietnam and from time to time, involved in supporting activities in other countries in the Southeast Asia region. You will be mentored by a senior member of the local team in Vietnam. This role is a full-time position for entry to mid-level candidates.

Job description

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Note: Only applicants who fulfil legal requirements to work in Vietnam will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct studies on markets and client segments, contribute to market strategies, and identify new opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with local partners and stakeholders
• Generate leads and build project pipelines through networking, prospecting and cultivating relationships with clients
• Maintain client, partner, and project data within our database, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for seamless operations
• Cooperate with Finance and Technical teams on project/opportunity due diligence and feasibility studies
• Prepare and present project proposals to clients
• Manage key steps of project development, including documentation, notarization, licensing, and permitting
• Forecast pipeline conversion and report on project development activities on regular basis
Provide customer service to clients as required**

Profile

• University Graduate in Business or Marketing from an accredited university or college
• Analytical and organized with the high degree of commercial acumen
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the sale of solutions/financial products, B2B sales, or deal origination
• Able to communicate confidently in English and Vietnamese in a professional environment
• Ability to deliver under pressure while supporting peers in a collaborative environment
• Capability to flourish with minimal guidance and handle ambiguity
• Experience in Power, Infrastructure, or Renewables is a plus
Understanding of Power Purchase Agreements is an advantage
